Advertising your business on Home Cable TV’s Channel 6 is simple and effective. Not every business can afford thousands of dollars to advertise on TV, but with Home you can spend as little as $10 a day to get your message across.
There are several ways to advertise with Home and an option for every budget.
Weather Crawl announcements are displayed during the “Local on the 8s” segments on The Weather Channel. The “Local on the 8s” segments bring local weather forecasts on every "8" of each hour (3:18, 3:28, 3:38, etc.) for a total of 7 segments each hour. Each segment features one advertisement crawl which scrolls, or “crawls”, across the bottom of the screen and all announcements are rotated accordingly. To display an announcement, you must either e-mail or fax a hard copy of the announcement worded exactly as you would like it displayed. All Announcements are limited to 240 characters including spaces and punctuation.

The Local Programming Channel, channel 6, is your televised bulletin board to the community. Here, you can run full screen ads announcing community events, business news, sales and promotions, general business advertising and more. Still Slide advertising costs are billed on per week/per slide increments and run 24 hours a day 7 days a week unless pre-empted by other scheduled programming. If you want, Home can design a still slide for you for a nominal charge.

Paid Programming offers businesses and organizations the opportunity to air programs for profit or to express viewpoints that serve the interest of the sponsor. For example, if you are trying to sell a very specific product, you may want to use the programming time for product demonstrations and direct product ordering details.

Leased access is when an individual organization or commercial entity "leases" a channel from the cable operator for a fee. Programming on leased access channels is funded by the sale of commercial advertising on the channel. With leased programming, you can display your own programs that may feature real estate listings, news, restaurant reviews, political programs, tourist info, etc. Air a single program or multiple programs comprising several hours of the day.

Reach a larger audience or make worship services available to congregation members who are unable to attend by broadcasting your Church Programming on channel 6. As an advertiser of Church programming, you receive one recurring time slot, up to 60 minutes, per week. Broadcast every week and retain your time slot by submitting your new weekly program by 12 noon on the scheduled broadcast date. A second time slot can be reserved if space is available. Simply inquire about another time slot when you submit your weekly program. Note that this second time slot can be cancelled at any time depending on the space available.
